Faith - Lesson 2 Initiation into Salvation

Acts 16:31, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." So the first step that must be taken to enter salvation is to believe in the Lord Jesus.

In what way must we believe? Again the Bible has the answer. It says that we must accept Him as our Lord and Savior, and depend on Him to take us to heaven.

When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior we must also turn from sin. We must repent and ask God, for Jesus' sake, to forgive us and make us clean. If we ask Him to do this, we must also trust that He does forgive and cleanse us. Remember I John 1:9, "If we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing."

This acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Savior is done simply by talking to Him as you would to a friend. If you have never taken this step, just tell God that you want to accept the forgiveness He offers.

I'm sorry for my sin and ask Your forgiveness. Cleanse me and keep me from all wrong doing. I accept the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus who died for me.

Jesus said “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Faith ( lesson 1 of 45) Salvation

Are v curious and always asked questions like
Y things happen the way they happen.
Y do v sin? how can i be saved from sin?
What is Christianity really all about?
How does the Bible apply to my life?
Who is Jesus Christ?
how do i know there is a God? how do i know if he really exist?

How strong is your faith my fellow brothers and sisters?

If you want you can journey along with me while i find my faith...you can find yours too

"There are many roads to salvation and heaven. Sincerity is the key to reaching heaven. You may believe whatever you wish as long as you are sincere."

is that right? Is being sincere enough? Or can a person be sincerely mistaken?

The Bible is very clear in saying that freedom from sin comes only through Jesus Christ.
Revelation 1:5 says, "He [Jesus Christ] loves us, and by his death he has freed us from our sins."

Acts 4:12 states: "Salvation is to be found through him [Christ] alone; in all the world there is no one else whom God has given who can save us."

So, in defining salvation we can say that it is pardon from sin, but we must add "through the death of Jesus Christ."

Who needs this salvation? Everyone has sinned and been sentenced to eternal death or separation from God.

Ezekiel 18:4 says, "The person who sins is the one who will die." And in Romans 3:23 we read, "Everyone has sinned and is far away from God's saving presence." All mankind is in need of forgiveness of sin and pardon through Jesus Christ

FAITH ISN'T THE ABSENCE OF DOUBTS. IT'S FOLLOWING GOD IN SPITE OF THEM!

Faith “According to your faith it will be done to you Matthew 9:29.”
Would you say that faith is an important issue? Yes, it is

How do I get more faith? How do I measure it? The Bible tells us that faith comes by hearing the word of God. The Bible is God’s faith food. The more we get into God’s word, the Bible – the more our faith will develop.

Jesus said “According to your faith it will be done to you Matthew 9:29.” Jesus says faith is a choice. You get to choose how much God blesses your life.
If we refuse to believe that God will do something amazing in our lives and our faith community then guess what we will get – nothing.

"According to your faith be it done to you"

MAtthew 9:29 "According to your faith be it done to you"

"Lord, help me to draw near to you with confidence and trust in your saving power and mercy. Free me from doubt and unbelief that I may approach you confidently and pray boldly with expectant faith. Let your kingdom come and may your will be done in me."
